Tarras is an innovative landscape design company, based in Denver, Colorado.     Tarras is owned and operated by Bruno Gilmour and Dana Jaugilas, both trained landscape architects.  We are passionate about landscape, we love designing, and we thrive on creating beautiful, unique, outdoor places for our clients.

Our practice is characterised by our interest in collaboration with other innovative designers, engineers, artists, fabricators and contractors.   Sharing ideas keeps the energy levels high, and the ideas fresh.

Drawing on Bruno’s extensive landscape construction experience, and Dana’s considerable plant knowledge, we ensure that the finished place is equal to the design vision, by remaining actively involved throughout the installation process.  Experience tells us that chances for innovation, for incorporating surprise and delight, are often waiting quietly for us to get on site, and get dirty.   We trust the creative process to deliver opportunites that only arise off paper, on the ground, during the process of crafting.
